The trivial pursuit of making a mirror image to enable this piece to be used as a desk top picture unlocked the creative possibilities which produced the real surprise: the impact of the spherized world - made using Adobe Photoshop® - with its carved interior and exterior spaces and suggestion of an ancient helmet. |

Adding to the use of symbols within the interior space in the original painting, Lauren included this studio shot of herself and the sphere in order to emphasize the linkage with her concept of the exploration of "perfect worlds" via the reflective potential of the sphere. |
