HS GALLERY Susan Morris     'Blank Space' © 1999 Video Loop (Unedited)   Morris's recent exhibition 'Desire' contains works such as Blank Space, that withold everything - except a polished restraint which is equally fetishistic. Morris expresses desire - not within the subject matter but in the way she constructs images. Devices that she uses include severe cropping to emphasise tension, and she frames "voyeuristc engagement with the scene." According to Morris, "The works perform a visual tease.
